Hi Everyone!

How is everyone enjoying the nice spring-like weather? I have a feeling that you should not get too comfortable with it; I think the best is being saved till last!! This is one time that I really hope that I am wrong!

We had our first board meeting of the new year and have new plans in the works for our 2012 FUN RUN and for our Citibank Show. For our Citibank show, we will be contacting our good friends in the Sun City Car Club to see if we can get some of them to attend, which will give the local residents a few different cars to view while the Pinewood Derby is being run.

Plans are well underway for our Fun Run with Cal Roe again designing our art work (he always does an outstanding job, especially for the year of 2010!). We are receiving mail from participants requesting applications and they will be mailed out soon. Cliff is already signing up vendors and we are making some necessary changes to the parking. As a whole, everything is going very well.

I do hope some of our members were able to attend the National Roadster Show. The weather was great, not to mention that there were a lot of very, very nice vehicles of all types.

We are trying to put together a bus trip for March. If anyone has some great ideas, please let Rick or myself know so we can submit it to the Board.

Valentine's Dinner will be at Le Dolce Vita Wine Tasting Room at 6:00 PM on February 14th. This will be different and alot of fun. I hope to see everyone there with their valentines!

Remember to "check that dip stick!"
